Parallel Projects:
Soul Mio:
Since 1999 he has been joining the "Soul Mio", a neapolitan trip-hop band, produced by "Fridge Records" of Milan. With Soul Mio he has published "Vertigini" (Fridge/Sony 1999), an album co-produced with Sie-Midway Smith (collaborator of Howie B and Bjork) and "El sol se pone negro" (Fridge/Self 2001) whose title track has been selected in may 2002 for the Piaggio spot commercial.
Gone:
As author and music producer he has just published "Hitchcock Road" (Minus Habens/Emi 2002) with "Gone" (electronic duo composed by Leziero Rescigno, drummer of "La Crus"). With this project, the duet carries out an electronic re-elaboration of the themes of the three greatest movies directed by Alfred Hitchcock (Vertigo, Marnie and Psycho).
Dipper:
Dipper is the last project by Ugo. This project represents the intention to melt te essential standards of jazz with the digital world of deep-house and down-beat, where Ugo can surf the refined territories of jazz while reshaping sounds in a modern, sometimes smoothy electronic way. The sound in Dipper includes musicians of different walks of life, which give a unique character to the whole project.
